Dad kindly drove up to the 'free yesterday, got my scnas and we parcel forced them to anoethr professor in Stockholm. I hope we go there because #ve heard it's nice. Never been!
I ike staying in bed - It sems safest fore me but Paul took me for a spin yesterday which was really nice to get out.

Hey Bro,
I have to say that I'm so so proud of you, it was a massive shock for you and everyone last week but you have got back up and started the good fight again (probably quicker than all of us!!). You have never once complained about why me, you have just accepted and fought like a champion.
Great to have spent so much time with you over the last few months, so some good things can come out of all this. You continue to be an inspiration to me and let’s just keep on fighting, miracles can happen.
I think we should put our talking of Devon on the back burner for a while!!! You know what I'm talking about.
All my love
Si
Keep fighting Ali.
Hope you enjoyed the wedding cake!
Love Alison (the new Mrs Williams)
Hey Ali.
Really pleased to read your latest message about seeking more advice - I think it's what we had all hoped to hear!

Lots of love

Hi Ali
Jo and I had dinner last night with some Brits who live in Provence, apparently Chateau du Berne is fantastic, so we know you'll have a great time there.
Enjoy Annecy too, we'll see you when you're back. Keep fighting, we're right behind you.

Dear Ali,
Stockholm is absolutely beautiful - go with renewed hope...there are amazing medical interventional advances in Sweden.
On that Swedish note, here is a lovely little Swedish proverb:
Fear less, hope more
Eat less, chew more
Whine less, breathe more
Talk less, say more
Hate less, love more
And all good things are yours.
Stay strong...you are an inspiration to us all.

So pleased to read your blog today and to know that you are still putting up a fight to beat this.
Your mum, dad, Jeanette and all the Rainback crew are truly amazing and we wish you all the very best in your efforts to seek more advice. We are all praying that more can be done to help, especially after reading the blog yesterday from people in the USA who are also fighting the same thing. Stay strong Ali, we are truly with you all the way and hope you soon get some good news from Stockholm and a visit there.
Stay safe, keep smiling
All our love as always

Hey Ali - last blog today!
Just got back from lunch with a colleague. I was telling her about you and she said "NewGen? Do they have red jackets?" and it turns out she had lessons from "an Italian guy who used to ski between Italy and France" a few years ago. She said "They were great lessons - he should be proud".
So - I thought you should know.
Lots of love

Hi Ali,
Like everyone else, we're also so glad to hear the latest good news.
We just wanted to say that although we haven't shared as many experiences with you as so many of the other people on your blog, we've always tried to keep in touch over the years (since diving days in Vietnam and very infrequent skiing days in France) and we've always thought and spoke of you with such fondness.
Neither of us has ever had to experience what you and your family are going through and keeping in touch with you via your blog has had such an amazing effect on us .... I know it's corney, but it really, really has made us sit down, shut up and reflect. We just wanted you to know that what you are going through - a total and utter bugger and should not happen to anyone let alone someone like you - it, and you, are having a massive positive effect on others. We are totally convinced that there will be a positive outcome and we're "blogging" with you the whole way!
Love, Julie & Mark xx
Hi Ali,
I just wanted to send my love and positive thoughts to you, Jeanette and all your family as I have been letting David do the blogs.
You are never far from our thoughts and in our prayers.
Hoping that you will hear some good news from Sweden and that your journey can take a different path.
Much love to you all, stay strong
Jo (Marson)

Can't see through my tears - both laughter and sadness. the blog comments and jokes are wonderful - so much love all around the world. Go for it - whatever (our granddaughter's favourite saying) We are with you all the way. Surely all this love in the cyberspace must have some effect.
Love as always

Hi Ali
Stealing Si's words now - You continue to be an inspiration to me too. I had a bad day at work and then thought about your positive spirit and it put it all in perspective for me.
Have a lovely time away and fingers crossed for some good news from Stockholm.
Jules xx
Hi Ali,
It seems like reading your blog has become a daily purpose for many of the blog followers, myself included. The last few days so much has happened and you have faced such huge descisions.
My respect goes out to you for your descision about Chemo, I dont suppose many of us or our loved ones will ever have such a momentous choice to make.
Then the talk of Stockholm is so good to hear and I'll join on the end of the queue to hear the next news if thats ok. Fingers crossed for you Ali.
Treacle x
Hi Ali
Hold on - if you go off to Annecy you will miss St Georges Day parade! I'm sure you could still fit in your cub uniform, get the cap and the garters on and get wheeled down the high st. Nice. Perhaps you should consider postponing the trip.....
Or perhaps not.
Good luck on the journey - I, and obviously everyone else, will be thinking of you.
Cheerio for now
Dear Ali
Hi there, your neighbours here in Le Villaret, Janey, Iain, Rory & Ruby. We wanted to let you know we are thinking of you and have enjoyed reading your blog. Your mum and dad sound like fantastic people and great to have around for all the support they can offer. Janette's strenght is also truley admirable as she always take the time out to let us know how you are getting on. Unfortunately we are a little like ships in the night, and don't bump into her often but we and I'm sure everyone is really grateful for letting us know how you are. Sending you all my best love Janey
Dear Ali
I have great repect for your spirit and your blog shows how wonderfully humans can connect.
Your fight is in many of our thoughts.
Iain Macluskie
Hi Ali. Hope this brings a smile!
Pat and Mick, out on a country walk, find a sheep with its head stuck in a fence. Mick performs an unnatural act on the sheep: then, turning to his friend, he says "Your turn now Pat". Pat, rather nervously, bent down and stuck his head through the fence!
Awrabest.
Hi Ali, Great to hear your latest news and that you have renewed hope of treatment in Sweeden. Keep on fighting.
Derek & Shona
Hi Ali, We've been keeping up with your blog. Hope you find something to improve on "THINKSHRINK".

Hope you get this but no doubt someone else will tell you too,
baby Thomas Marek Sanderson was born on the 18th, 9lbs 1oz, pretty big!
We named him after two very special people who meant a lot to the both of us.
I think we'll start young Tom out as a skier in a few years then get him on a board.

Hi Ali, just dropped you a long 'blog' as I am new to this I don't know if it went or not so I'll try again. hate to repeat myself but hey...
VEry glad to hear that you are looking for answers in new places. I am sending you the details of Tim Clarke, a friend of mine who's doctors told him to go home and enjoy what little time he had left, there was no more they could do. Not willing to give up, he started his own battle and 9 years later is happily married with 3 kids, healthy in mind and body! He is a lovely inspirational chap, who skis... he is happy for you to contact him if you wish to.tclarke@uwic.ac.uk or 029 2041b6698.
miracles or extraordinery things happen and I think one should be heading your way!
I have one other chemin for you but I need to speak to them first.
Keep eating the raw beetroot and smiling.
bisous
Hey Fella,
Had Nick and Dalton round to watch us lose to Man U last week so both Cat and I got an update from Nick about your progress. I don't want to sound like Wenger but we really didn't deserve to loose those matches...definately need to buy a centre half and striker next season.
We both think about you and your challenge every day.
While there are still options there is always hope, and it sounds like you are seeking out as many options as possible.
Think Shrink big guy and keep writing.
Dave, Cat, Hannah and Charlie
Hi Ali,
We are thinking of you every day, out here in Colorado.
You are fighting so well, and it is lovely to hear of the support from your family, friends and from Jeannette.
I just keep picturing you (and Dave Morris) making those Maid Marion jokes at the Child Protection training...hopefully none of your nurses are called Marion?!?
Much Love, Noni and Family x
Hello again Ali,
Glad to hear you're seeking more advice; go for it! We've been to Stockholm twice (a friend lives near) and it's very nice - from this time of the year onwards!! (Winter is seriously COLD!) The first weekend in May is a time of celebration in Sweden - heralding the start of summer, warmer days etc. - so you may be going at just the right time.
Enjoy all your trips - & safe travelling!
Our love, L & R
Hi Ali. Just a word from here,(G.R.??????) to wish you and family well; in Annecy, or wherever you are now?
Keep on blogging and posting the photos.
Who said, "A picture is worth a thousand words?", was not wrong!
Together with your many other skills, add photographer to your C.V.
But, despite all, keep on keeping on. AWRABEST.
Ali,
In Devon on business tonight staying in a place near Launceston, sure you know it well... Hope you have had a great day and enjoying your trip.
Thinking off you, keep up those strong spirits..
Craig xx
Hey Ali,
Chuffed to hear you're still fighting fella! keep it up! Good luck with Stockholm, Lulumeribel's suggestion, beetroot, leeches and any other possibilities!!
Mum and Dad send their love - Mum is logging in every couple of days and always asks me to tell you that Mrs B sends her love (not sure why she can't comment herself - perhaps she hasn't worked out how.. Mum, are you out there???)
I'm learning how to cope with a pregnant wife for the first time.. she's either pregnant or she hates me! let's hope it's not both. I'll find out in 6 months time when the nipper arrives. I'm pretending i want a girl as this seems to cause less friction but clearly i'm rooting for a big ginger bruiser of a lad!..
All our love from Hong Kong.
Rich B
