Thursday morning

At last we're doing something. Today at 4.30pm we are getting some drugs UPS'd from England. I don't know much about these drugs but Emily thankfully read about them. I'm very happy to be doing something.

Yesterday we went for a push by the lake and lunch in La Bilboque, which is a lovely restaurant with a cheese-board to die for! We saw Rachel & Tom and Jacques, Francoise & kids. It was so kind of them to come.

Today, hopefully Jacques & Francoise are coming to take me for a push and then Tom's coming over again to chat. I love seeing Tom.

Simon is coming after the weekend - I wish him well with his new house! And HAPPY BIRTHDAY TODAY ARCHIE!

Love Ali

Hi Ali

You sound as if you are having a great time in Annecy - how lovely to see Jacques and Francoise - they must be relieved it is the end of the season now.
Good luck with the new drugs coming over today - not sure what they are but we are all hoping and praying that they will make you feel better and hopefully not so dizzy.
Let us know when you are coming back to the UK so that we can all 'book a push' with you as well! Hugo would love to be trained as a Husky so perhaps he could pull you as well!!
Take care, lots of love to you all

Hi Ali
Keeping up to date in Pau dans les Pyrénées. Your news re the drugs is uplifting and coincides with the first sunshine in 5 days!

I suppose you'll HAVE to eat cake for Archie's birthday...

Enjoy la Belle France (and regards to Tom when you see him).

Hey Ali,

I did wonder if the Professor you mentioned in an earlier post was Professor Pilkington - definitely have to give it go!

You sound like you're having a whale of time, so keep on doing exactly that.

Didn't Simon only move recently? I _really_ feel for him having to do that again - didn't enjoy it all when we moved - but then worth it in the end I guess.

Take care and lots of love

Hi Ali,

Glad to hear you are having a nice time in Annecy.

We were not sure of who Prof Pilkington is, so we googled him!!

Probably one of the best guys in the world to be getting drugs from!!

Hope they help!!!

Hi Ali

Good that you are having help from Prof Pilkington, he seems like a top guy.

We're playing cricket up at Steve Harding's pitch between Kimpton and Whitwell tomorrow for Ben's Stag Party. A barbeque followed by a couple of halves in The Brocket on the way home. I'll raise a glass to you and Jeanette.

Keep enjoying France, keep fighting and keep blogging.

Love to you all,

Marzie

Hi Ali,

Its L'Sex and co, glad to see you are having a good time. Fingers crossed for the drugs and thinking of you mate.

What is going on the Gunners? Don't worry mate the Hammers will do the Reds again on the last day if you can possible stand Chelsea winning the league?

Keep well and most importantly, keep smiling.

Dearest Ali

So pleased you are having such a happy time in Annecy. Hopefully you are having the same sunny weather that we are having on the slopes. Good luck with the new drug.

Lunch by the lake sounded so good and the cheeseboard, the French really do know how to serve wonderfully cheeses.

Hope Archie had a very happy birthday.

Keep us the good work, we are thinking of you all the time.

All our love as always,
The Conways
