Bonjour everyone!

Not much to report yesterday I'm afraid because Jet and I didn't leave the apartment. I just felt that I should stay in bed so I did. I'm just following my body at the moment. Tom.and Sean came round to say hello which was lovely. I fell asleep from about 2pm and I woke up at 8pm - great! The more sleeping I can do the better.

Jet has taken over mum's mantle of looking after me - awesome!! Thank you both

We're off to Meribel today so I'll have more to to report in the mormimig!

Love

Ali

Awrabesr ok!

Hi Ali

I heard this on the radio the other day and I thought of you......'REM Everybody Hurts':

"When the day is long and the night, the night is yours alone,
When you're sure you've had enough of this life, well hang on.
Don't let yourself go, everybody cries and everybody hurts sometimes.

Sometimes everything is wrong. Now it's time to sing along.
When your day is night alone, (hold on, hold on)
If you feel like letting go, (hold on)
When you think you've had too much of this life, well hang on.

Everybody hurts. Take comfort in your friends.
Everybody hurts. Don't throw your hand. Oh, no. Don't throw your hand.
If you feel like you're alone, no, no, no, you are not alone

If you're on your own in this life, the days and nights are long,
When you think you've had too much of this life to hang on.

Well, everybody hurts sometimes,
Everybody cries. And everybody hurts sometimes.
So, hold on, hold on""

LOVE YOU LOTS

Hi Ali. Sos and I sitting in bed this morning, thinking of you, hoping that you're doing okay. Hoped to catch up with you when we were out in Courchevel recently, but you were very much in demand! We had a good chat with Katy though and she filled us in on how you've been doing. Good to know that you've been breathing in the superb mountain air - that's a get-well tonic if anything is. Lots of love Sarah, Sos & Harry xxx

Hi Ali
This is your old Kimptonian classmate Nicola here. I heard news of your tumour from Miranda. I'm sending your my bestest wishes and positive vibes your way. Keep fighting and staying strong. I am thinking about you and hope you get back to the things you love doing soon.

By the way the photos of Courcheval on your Blog look amazing - beats Birmingham thats for sure. Im sorry to hear you are so misguided in your choice of football team - I thought you would have better taste than that. No seriously you are a great guy - one of the few classmates I really remember well. Are you still in contact with any of them now?

So take care and keep up the writing on your blog - sounds like you have a lot of great friends who are really supportive of you.

love Nicki (Spurs fan and proud of it!)

Hi Ali,

Just been to the ISIA Mountain Safety pre-course meeting with Roy which basically signals the start of a month of BASI courses, brilliant!

However, I feel as ready as I will ever be having completed 8 weeks of training with New Gen's finest which is all thanks to your help, encouragement, inspiration and commitment. I wouldn't be here without your input.

I will keep you up to date with our progression over the next few weeks.

It's great to hear that things are improving albeit slowly. My thoughts are often with you and Jeanette.

Speak to you soon matey,

Birchy.

Hey Ali,

Better get your balance back before our ski trip next year otherwise you won't have a chance of keeping up with me.
