Bonjour

I think (and so does martin) that a bath before a little snooze does wonders. It does!! I woke up after about a 4 hour kip and felt great. I must admit, I feel a bit less dizzy and therefore get rid of the last thing that’s wrong with me. All I’ve said for the last few weeks is that I feel fine, just a bit giddy. I wonder if it will go?

So today;
Cup of tea
Muffins!
Write this blog
Nice hot bath
Sleep for a few hours
Martin. Deirdre and I have lunch
Martin and I go out for some fresh air (hot chocolate!!)
Back to bed before dinner
Back to bed
MORNING AGAIN

I don’t mind the sleeping bit because I know it’s s helping me get better.

Speak soon

Love

Ali

That sounds like the perfect routine to me - eat, sleep, exercise and body healing and the fact that you are feeling less dizzy is wonderful. As your dad said a while ago, maybe you have been at the point of 'low tide' but eventually the tide turns and hopefully you will now feel better with every new day.
Looking forward to seeing you VERY soon and our trip back to the UK together. Thinking shrink all the time, lots of love from us all at Lower Farm.

Hello mate,

Back from the Midlands, did an Outdoor show, quite interesting, better than my next one, its in Bournemouth and called "The Care Show" for people in homes. Let me know if you want me to pick you up any super strength pants or a decent zimmer.

Glad your feeling beter, super news, was a bit dizzy yesterday myself but think it may have been due to the 12 pints strongbow I had sunday at Rugby. . . Saw Bath lose to the Quinns .. still struggling now. Keep the spirits up old boy and speak soon.

I see your Arse is struggling now - too many draws.

Hi Ali

Great to read your news although you didn't mention how Meribel was! All the shrinking thinking is working I see - less dizzy is great news.

Sarah and Daniel have just returned from a week's skiing in Flaine and had a great time. Quite a lot of powder to ski. Can't wait for our trip to Val D'Isere in April, we have missed out on skiing this year because we went to Thailand for three weeks late last year and you know the story - not much annual leave left so had to be content with one week.

Anyway Ali keep up the good work.
All our love as always

Hey Hello Ali!

That is fabby news you are feeling less dizzy. I reakon it's the thinking shrinking that is having an effect. :-)

I was in Annecy at the weekend with Piers, Dougie and Paul and saw where your flat was - looks like a great location. Infact we stayed in the Ibis so we were just opposite it. We will have to hook up at some point when you are feeling better.

Sounds like your body is making you do all the right things to get better...lots of sleeping and decent grub.

I will be thinking shrinking all week.

Hugs

Hi Ali,
Sorry we didn't see you and Jeanette last week, but fully understand that you were concentrating on getting less dizzy - great news.
Thanks for arranging the lesson from Tom, he was great, and no doubt has fed back to you how much improved I am as a skier, although I still put the wings out occasionally!!
Keep on improving, and don't drink too much hot chocolate.

Love Mr & Mrs H

salut Ali,
a tres vite.
