Bonjour everyone!
I'm still in bed but I had a great day. Yesterday I just didn't feel like anything - completely exhausted. Martin and i went for a small walk. I hadn't slept much but went to bed at 3pm and didn't wake up until 3am!! Wicked. I then had some breakfast at 3am with Martin (thanks for the muffins pal) then slept through until 9am. Great. Sleep is the great healer.
So, after having so much sleep I was up ready to walk. We didn't walk as far as the other day but still it was beautiful. Looks like the weather is changing a bit and we go the last of the nice weather.
Back home, bath, Travis's fish soup which is lovely - just divine - it's worth coming to the chalet JUST for that!! then be again, I can't stop fidgiting (my left side is going mad!!). I'm not well YET I intend to be very shortly, everything is on target to being better.
I haven't forgotten about THINK SHRINK and neither should you!!!!
Love
ALI

Hi Ali
Great to hear you had a good day with lots of scrummy food, sleep and fresh air. Keep that positivity and smiley face and you will get there eventually, just have to be patient. We are always thinking shrink and wishing you better, you are in our thoughts always.
The weather here in UK is changing too from the beautiful sunshine we had in February to more unsettled weather with snow up north and maybe a sprinkling down south. Hope the sunshine comes out again for you soon to help with the healing.
Take care and all our love as always, The Conways

Dear Alistair,
I saw your mum & dad yesterday in church in Cannes. A real pleasure to see them!! I did a lot of shovelling today & my back is complaining..... still by all the boats.. still taking the pills twice a day, still injection once a week, head spins a little bit most of the day...hoping for a healing. All is well, God is in control.... what is He doing??? Why? Sometime I think I know othertimes I'm sure I've got no idea.....
I think He is for us & loves us....
God bless Alistair, Jeanette & all Rainbacks....

Ali, Jet & Co,
you are all, always in my thoughts. Every step that you take down this rocky road to betterness is taken in unison with all of us behind you, willing you on, supporting you when and where we can (some by mail and those lucky enough, personally), Think Shrinking, wishing you better, praying you better, drinking to your health (my Favourite!) and just being here for you. When you look behind you, you will see that there are hundreds and hundreds if not thousands of us following your every step, ready to catch you should you stumble, give you drink when you're thirsty and to feed you when you're hungry.
All of this and your own formidable strength of character and personal drive will see us through to the other side of this shitty place in which we find ourselves.
I am always, despite distance, at your disposal, anything that I can do, say or be for you only takes a word.
Big Love and respect,
Dicky M

Hey Ali
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step - not sure who said that but you seem to be going through a long journey and are well behind that first step on your journey to a full recovery. Though I am sure each day is a new journey in itself - keep taking that first step - you will get there with your incredibly positive attitude.
Been doing some hiking on skins this season to try and get fit and each step is a think shrink step - grinding and crushing - especially when it gets tough! And it does but I know I can be out there and you would love to be and will be soon so it inspires me to keep going!
Keep fighting, stay positive.
Thinking of you.
