Sunday Morning

Bonjour Everyone!

Wow! What a great night Friday was. New Generation had a mid season party at Evolution Bar in Merbel and Jet and I went along. We got a small clap from about 60 people when we walked in! It was so lovely to see our Friends again. I'd not ever even met a couple of instructors before so it was really nice to put a name to a face. It was all a bit overwhelming so we left after an hour but absolutely loved seeing our friends again. Thanks Jen for organising that.

Guess what?! I'm very excited!! On that Friday afternoon Jet and Francoise went to the bank to talk about my Annecy mortgage. In France you choose a mortgage protection in case you are ill. Well I guess that applies now so it look like the bank will pay my mortgage for the foreseeable future yippee!!Well, lets hope so! I'll let you know!
Mum and Dad are in Nice and driving up to Annecy for Wednesday to meet us and give Martin and Deirdre a wee break. We are staying at the Annecy apartment for a few days together - yippee! I'm looking forward to seeing Mum and Dad again.
Love

Ali

Dear Ali, Jet and the whole family!

Wanted to wish you all the best and luck with everything from the Portes du soleil, Morzine/Avoriaz. We read your blog regularly, even when I don't know you myself. But you must know Luc, the dutch skiinstructor. I am his wife Annette. I always think I should write a comment for you, because you love to hear from other people. The midseasons party sounds really good and I think it is so much positive energy for you. Great that you went there! I hope you can keep the appartment, so good luck with all that!! Think shrink!
Love from all three of us;
Luc, Lotta and Annette

Hi Ali

We are so pleased you got to the New Gen mid season party in Meribel. What a wonderful tonic for you to see all your friends again, just shows what a popular guy you are. Great news about the Annecy apartment and we wish you all the best with that, it must be a huge relief to you. Martin and Deirdre have been stars in all that they have done as have your family, Jeanette and friends who have rallied around to help. If we were nearer we would too but your mum and dad will soon be there again to lend a hand and being parents ourselves we know how much they want to help. Take care Ali, keep up the positive thinking and keep smiling.
All our love to you as always

With temperatures like these we should set you up a little sunlounger outside the house that you can snooze on and catcha bit of a tan! :) Have fun with your Mum and Dad in Annecy hope the weather's good for you all. Hey Ali, Sounds like you are in the right place at the moment mate. The photos are stunning and the support of your friends sounds amazing.

Chris Dalton and I went to the footie on Sat to watch Arsenal continue to throw away the Championship title...they're making good work of it at the moment and Senderos' own goal was a touch of class (not)!!!!

Stand firm big fella...
