Bonsoir eveyone!
Mum told me that I had to blog so here I am!! Right, the competition for naming the wheelchair is now closed. thank you for your entries and I've chosen 'Chorlton' thank you Zoe, it just stood out for me and Mum did some research to find out that Chorlton is the happiness dragon and happiness follows him wherever he goes. Here is his website if you're bored.... .http://80scartoons.co.uk/-andchorlton-the-wheelies.html
Ha ha it was quite funny yesterday. Mum and I went for a 'push' yesterday. Cor, wheeling in a wheelchair is wheelie difficult! aha . I'm trying to be funny sorry. We only went about a kilometer so and it nearly killed us.
Right, as far as Think Shrink is concerned we have a consultation with all and sundry next Thursday at the Royal Free. Cant wait. ha ha. Seriously, I don't know what is going to happen but of course I'll let you know asap so hang by your computers next Thursday afternoon. As far as I know there are a number of different option of whci I'll tell you about in the next blog or so.
Love
Ali

S H R I N K. We shall be waiting for your news on Thursday as will many others I know.
We've checked out Chorlton and think he is a great happiness dragon and just love the wheelie song. That happiness dragon will be with you wherever you go so keep on smiling Ali.
Your mum will soon be the fittest mum around, hope it isn't too hilly where you live!
Lots of love to you as always

Just read your blog you cheeky thing - as if I could make you do it and it was at least 10 miles in Chorlton (well it felt like it)!Today you get to do more work and less of the 'watch out,Mum!' We certainly had a laugh and it's great to have you giving me your usual backchat again!
We'll get better at this together so you get to wheel me instead and then see how hard it is!
From the big Dragon following the Happiness Dragon xx
Hey Ali,
Excellent choice. I think _you_ might be the happiness dragon though, judging by how many friends you have and how support is flying your way.
I don't really remember Chorlton (I think I'm too old!) but my husband does and used to love it. Wasn't there some horrible witch aswell- maybe that might be your current set of hurdles which Chorlton is going to help you defeat. Course, I might be mixing up my kids programmes and talking cobblers because as I said, I don't really remember!
Another beautiful day here - just fills you with positivity!
Always thinking of you.
All our love

Love the name - thinking lots of positive thoughts for Thursday.

Good name and thanks for the link -I shall be watching that video on and off all the time now! I hope no one expected me to do any work today!
But I agree that you must be the happiness dragon - which begs the question - who is the wee blond Wheelie that had a slight crush on Chorlton? Has Jeanette changed her name and bleached her hair?
Can the happiness dragon puff a little bit of happiness in Arsene Wenger's direction today please? In fact if you see Nicklas Bendtner loitering on the opposition's goal line can you blow him off the pitch?!!
Thanks
Yours
C. Fabregas
Hia Ali, Keep wheeling as they say, look forward to shooting over to see you all being well. Keep me posted and thinking of you lots! Nice spring days here to date, can just see you and your mum out wheeling in Herts! Supposed to snow at the weekend!! Hey hum! Speak soon, Take care, keep smiling Mr Happy Dragon! "Those who bring sunshine to the lives of others ( as you do ) cannot keep it from themselves" X
P.S, Sorry from Sally and family!
I rememebr Chorlton and the Wheelies, he used to call the witch "little old lady" and she was green!
Was that really Fabregas sending a message?
I'm back home now, but we are all still shrink thinking!
Rob, Anna and very big bump!
aha - see, not as easy as all that to get rid of us scousers eh?!!
thinking of you wizzing around in chorlton... reckon we could train chisp to pull you - imagine how fast you'll be able to go then!
love you lots ali, we're going to have you on the return leg!
big hugs,
Katie (and chisp of course)
:0)
Miss our coffees but hope to see you soon.
As always you are in our thoughts and lots of love to Diana and Ian.
Think once your arms get huge from all that pushing around you will be able to take up a new summer sport......kayaking (maybe just another sport you could add to your collection)
Hugs and kisses,
Carolyn and JOHn.
Good on ya mate for writing when you're probably feeling knackered. We are still thinking about you loads. Me and Rodders watched a video of us skiing in La Grave this evening - happy memories. Stay strong Ali we miss you.
Lots of love Pauly G.
Hi Ali. Good to read you're doing what your Mum tells you. Just let her keep pushing you around! She knows best. No! O.K.!...so let's move on to other dragons! CHORLTON?....I checked the website and concluded: dragons are for slaying, however happy they may be. That tune is awful/awesome, but keeps going through my head. But if it helps SHRINK, who cares? Am looking forward to Thursday (Day of Thor)...god of thunder: hoping his hammer strikes the blight from your life and brings back the life you long for. Awrabest.
One week today.....7 days of thinking shrink!!!

bonjour Ali,
sounds good...
je nettoie le BBQ ce week end, il n attendra plus que vous...
je te tel la semaine prochaine, en attendant, je pense tres fort a toi, continue ton "combat", nous sommes a tes cotés.
grosses bises a partager avec toute ta famille.

Ali - i've just found a really funny wheelchair joke.....not sure how PC it is, but I know you will chuckle!! Here goes:
An old lady in an old peoples home was dashing round the corridors in her wheelchair. "Stop!" said one old man, "Have you a licence to drive that?". "Of course" she replied and pulled her bus pass out of her hand bag. "Okay" said the old man and off she went. Around the next corridor an old lady shouted, "Wait a minute, is your wheelchair taxed?" "Of course" she said, put her hand in her hand bag and produced a beer mat. Again, she was sent on her way. Along the final corridor she raced along when suddenly a young man with an erection stood firmly in her path.
The old lady abruptly shouted, "Oh no! not the breathyliser again!!!"
Love Jumbo
Good one Jumbo - that's a bit naughty but funny - ha ha!
Hi Ali, great to see your blogging again, we all love to hear from you and I appreciate you probably don't feel like it. I also love all the photos - lots of fun times.
All the luck in the world on Thursday! 6 days of THINKING SHRINK to go. Thinking of you always.
We've got the New Gen party tonight, we will miss you lots. Will send another message soon to let you know how it all went.
Miss you, think shrink, Nix xxxx
Ali,I just read Jumbo's story. He is a bad boy!...tells a good story though! Tells it like it is. If it's funny so be it; if it ain't, don't read it. What is "p.c."?.....PURE COMEDY? So here's one about a blind man and a dog. A woman walking along a street sees a blind man on the opposite side; a dog walks by him, stops, cocks his leg and pees on the man's leg: the man reaches down and strokes the dog back and forth along its spine. The woman, touched by the man's apparent act of kindness, crossed the road and approached the man, praising his actions."Madam" said the man "I am no dog lover, but just checking which end its mouth is before kicking it in the nuts". Keep on blogging and keeping on young man. Awrabest.
Hiya Ali
Got lost in your blog and posted this comment on the wrong page!! So i'm moving here to where it should be.
Hope today is a good one for you! Love the name Chorlton and expect you will be whizzing around in no time. Catching up on your blog is always special and we are Thinking Shrink in a big way ahead of next Thursday.

Love you lots.

Hi Ali
We had the New Gen' party last night at the Taiga in La Tania. You were missed by everyone and it wasnt the same without you there.
Tom did a great speech and said a big thanks to everyone from himself, Woz and you.
Oh and we did a bit of "videoing" for you, although i'm not sure your mum and dad will want to watch it as we had all had a few glasses of vino by then...apologies in advance for any rude bits! Will send it onto you when Matt has edited it :)
It was great to see Jeanette with us all last night, she is lovely!
Will be thinking shrink and crossing fingers this week for good results.
