Hello! I'm back from the 3rd blasting and my head feels frazzled again. They took a bit of time as this session was a mapping one and they wanted to get it just right. So nearly half an hour in the mask and it was enough to start making me feel claustraphobic. You can't do anything really with your face, you can hardly open your eyes, just open your mouth and certainly not move. Good job I suppose really!

So, 26 days to go and Mr Tumor will have shrunk so that he doesn't bother me any more.

Speak tomorrow

love

Ali

Hi Ali, Tom here. We ran day one of the instructor training today. Everyone misses you. We have the best team in the Alps - a lot of which is thanks to you Al. You'd have been proud of my powerpoint prowess. Jenny and Euan did large parts and were great too. Keep the frazzle machine working and you'll be with us soon. Loved the photos.

Hey Ali, just been reading your blog. Interesting stuff. Funny to think you've turned into a Homer Simpson style eating machine! I've no doubt Mr Tumor will be packing his bags soon. I'm off to Meribel this week and will be putting some turns in for you dude. Take care and see you soon,

Hi Ali,

The mask is awsome. When you mentioned Silence of the Lambs, I thought you were joking. Can't she old PP in there mind?? Not sure it will be much good to ski in afterwards, looks a little leaky! Anyway, I'm coming over on Wednesday so we can have a good catch-up. In the meantime, stay positive and when I see you you will be up to number 5. Should really do the countdown clock for the last one!
See you Wednesday.

Hi Ali,
nice to see you are in such a good spirit. This time Mr. tumor got the wrong person, you are already kicking his butt....
They used to call me the eating machine (ask Kevin), but it sounds you are the man to beat now....things you do to be always the best !
I got in touch with the guys in Verbier, I think you put together a great team.
We will miss skiing with you this winter, but we'll work hard to make you proud.
Catherine sends you a hug and Benni a little smile with his new front teeth.
Ciao

Hey Ali

Sorry to hear that you had to have the mask on for 30 mins today - bet you had a sore face and nose after that. Good photos though, did Dad come in with you and take them for you?

You will be pleased to hear that I have made another 12 mince pies and bought 3 more packs of jaffa cakes so we are ready for the next chauffeuring trip!!

Take care and speak soon

Love Julia

It was great to chat to you yesterday and hopefully Mo will speak to you soon, as at the moment he is being controlled by the army and lost in winter wonderland in Austria somewhere??

Hi Ali
Been enjoying your blog and thought I would add a comment.
"Putting on weight!" at least you have the excuse of steroids and you eat to do it, I put on weight and don't eat anything!(well not a lot really. Perhaps its the beer and ginger biscuits that's doing it)
Hope your mum's vases weren't the Mings.
When you want to walk off the weight Bill has volunteered to go with you (he needs the exercise).
All our love, thinking of you
Christine and Bill

Seeing as you're talking and moving so much in your sleep these days, maybe we could bring the mask home and you could wear it in bed?

Ha ha... I've just read that again and it sounds dodgy... but you know what I mean!!

See you tomorrow!! Yippee!!!

Hi Ali,

Have you considered taking up fencing once you've finished off Mr Tumour? You've got the mask sorted and the "bend ze kneez" all you need is the foil!

Hi Ali,

the jungle drums have been beating in Harpenden, and so I wanted to you to know that we are all sending you support and happy thoughts.

think of the mask as a fencing mask (I agree with post above) and every time you put it on, you and the buzy machine to battle with the bad guys. like Piers Brosnan as Bond in that great fencing scene..

Hola Ali, Jenny Wilkie from the gap course last year here. I think your blog was an awesome idea!, i saw Jason in uni and he gave me the address :) I'm very glad to see that you and the machine are well on the way to kicking Mr Tumor's ass, he obviously didnt know what a strong, positive individual he was choosing to mess with! I know all the gappies and instructors will be missing you out there so get better soon.
All my positive and happy thoughts and vibes are heading your way.
Take it easy,
xxx
