I'm back again sorry for the delay....!

Hi folks

I've had some thoughts in hospital about sprucing up the blog....

1. Wig watch. My hair is going so I'm going to choose a wig from three then post the photos on the blog and you can CHOOSE.

2. The best thing that happened to me today. I've started already have you?

I love the idea of wig watch - Afro? blue glitter 70's disco ? you said we could choose....

The positive thinking is definitely the way forward and the way to beat the tumour - think of it as a temporary resident, it's time to evict it. It shouldn't be there and you are no longer going to give it space.

So you've started have you, well I might have to start too.

Hi Ali

Great to have you back! Checking your blog has become a regular part of my day and I have missed your news recently. So glad you are feeling better - does this mean you are home for Christmas now? At least you picked the right time of year to be eating like a horse! It is a lovely sunny day here and I got out of the house for a couple of hours skiing this morning - sadly the only edge I found was the drop beside the green road! Ah well, it will get better.
Right, off to do some panic christmas shopping - if the shops are open that is (how do the french survive???).

Looking forward to helping choose the new barnet!

Dearest Ali

How thankful we are that you've turned that corner because the last few days have been awful just sitting beside you and praying for you to be better and free of pain. You had certainly had everyone worried and they had to pull out all the stops so it's great to see you strong and determined to beat this again. Don't forget you'll be throwing out those pjs with the tumour soon!!

'To shine some sunlight into someone's life is to shine brilliantly'.

Remember you are our sunshine so please continue to shine brilliantly.

Lot and lots of love

Hi there, Good for you. You have reached the lowest and have found the strength and determination to come back so from now you will be climbing the ladder back to the top. I say in true Aussie fashion F... the tumour. You are stronger than it in every way. We missed you not blogging for a couple of days (sounds rude doesn´t it)and are so pleased to see you back stronger and better than before.
Get styling to give us all a christmas giggle but beware as much as we all love you we probably will pick the most ridiculous!!!!
John has booked and arrives Jan 10th and plans for the two of you to giggle lots.
Happy christmas to you, Jeanette and family. We hope you have a wonderful day with your beautiful fiancee and family. Take care mate,
Lots of Love CArolyn.
Sorry for being so soppy but you bring out the motherly instincts in me.

Hi Ali,

It's great to here that you are back, I really missed your daily updates over the last few days and was worried about you. Really pleased that you have turned the corner and decided to beat the bastard, don't let it get the better of you!!!
I was remembering the day that you came up to Morzine for lunch and bought your remote control plane with you, you and Mo where like little kids with a new toy, until Mo decided to ask if you could do any tricks, remember what happended next? The plane ended up crashing in the only trees, miles away and we ended up picking up the pieces from the river!!!
You will never guess what Mo wants to get now, a remote Helicopter! So you better get well for when he does, as he will need to be shown how to crash it with style!!

Keep up the good work and have a great Xmas with your family and friends!
Love, Sally & Mo

Nice to hear you are out of that little dip into the dark. Let's not go there again ok? Stay up, stay strong and most importantly.. stay ALI! (That is the best thing you have going for you.)
Off to Rome for Christmas and back to the boat on the 27th having taken part in the Italian 'eatathon'.
Happy Christmas and a 'tip top' New Year to all the family and all who read your Blog.
Here's to you,

Hi Ali

Glad to see you are back on the blog and feeling much better. As regards the wig, how about some dreadlocks for when we release the England song? I think Ali Marley Rainback has got a certain ring to it.

Gooners still going strong with a victory against local rivals Spurs. Arsenal have been a pleasure to watch this season which is a credit to Arsene Wenger considering the tender age of most of the team. With how poor Southampton have been doing I'm thinking of becoming a closet Gooner!

We are probably going to Courheval around January 26th so will be thinking of you as we hit the slopes. Here's hoping it won't be long before you are strapping on your skis again.

I really hope you have a great Christmas mate. Then you can come out full of fight in 2008 and nail this thing. A lot of people are in your corner Ali so good luck and keep positive because that's the way to crack this.

Merry Christmas to you, Jeanette and you family.

Cheers

Tony Osman
