Bonjour everybody!
I'm still in bed! Well, it is Sunday morning I guess. Best thing that happened to me yesterday? It's my Nephew, Charlie's Birthday later this month so I got him a red arrows flyimg suit. He loves it and wore it to bed because he liks it so much! I'm really happy about that. I'll post a photo that I just took of him and get rid of the......' Dead Mens' Fingers ' which is a sort of Sea Aneneme which Roy and I came across when Sean Kayaking just off the ummer Isles a few years ago...anyway, moving on! No-one got the right answer!
We had a great day yesterday as we drove from Jeannette's parents in Tunbridge Wells to Si's in Poole. I'm bored of being a backseat driver but happy to be one at the moment, if you see what I mean.
In terms of health I'm getting better each day. Thanks to you Thinking Shrink I feel better. Still a bit dizzy and my legs are weak but that's about it. Eyes not quite right, sleeping badly but we're nearly there. I can't wait to get better. I really can't.

Well you have certainly had a good weekend so far and we think Charlie looks absolutely ace in his flying suit. We are thinking Shrink all the time so it is obviously working which is brilliant news. Keep up the good work, we love reading the blog as we feel as though we are with you helping you along the path to recovery. Keep smiling.

Hi Ali! How could I have been so wrong? I have never seen one, let alone a handful, but once in a woodland glade saw a "Phallus Impudicus"..... oops!or dead man's dong,to be polite. Saw your parents today - we were at a concert in Kimpton so lovely to chat with them. Anyway, stay strong, you are doing so incredibly well. Here is a lovely little ditty that one of my dear friends in Australia recently sent me. It was in graphic form so I'll turn it into words as best I can. It is religious but you don't need to be religious to appreciate this.........
The story starts with crowds of people carrying crosses (crucifixes) on their backs. They appear weighed down and are struggling. One man asks God to cut down his crucifix so he can carry it better. He repeatedly asks God to cut his cross down. God does so - twice. The man is then much happier and continues to carry his cross, along with all the other people who are still struggling with their full size crosses. Then, they reach a point upon which the only way forward is to to cross a crevasse - the people carrying their full size crosses simply lay their crosses across the crevasse and use them as a bridge. Obviously, the man who asked God to cut his cross down cannot cross as his is now too short. These words then follow.....
We complain about the cross we bear but don't realize it is preparing us for the dip in the road that God can see and we cannot.
