Thursday Afternoon.

Bonjour everyone.

I've just had lovely soup for lunch...MMmmmmmm. Carrot and coriander soup. Thanks Jeanette.

Never bite the hand that feeds!

We went to the docs yesterday just to check blood pressure and ask him a few questions about going away. See, I told you we were being sensible!

He asked me if I'm in any kind of pain. It made me think actually that I've never been in any kind of pain since day one (all those months ago) to right now. It's been more emotional pain than anything else. I really, really feel for anyone who might suffer through pain in all this, actually, it's been quite easy regarding pain, there hasn't been any apart from when I didn't have enough steriods and my head really hurt at Christmas time. That was PAIN BUT, there was MORPHINE! Cool!

Love

Ali

Hello mate,
I've been a pain in the arse all my life you should really count yourself lucky. Now go and enjoy yourselves in France and we will look forward to catching up with you in a couple of weeks time, thinking shrink.

Hi Ali

So pleased to hear you don't have any pain and that you will soon be on your way to France. Just a few more days and you will be in those wonderful mountains. Hope that we can see you out in the mountains again very soon.

Dear Alistair,
Good to hear bout the lack of pain......A lot to be said for no pain. I like your spelling of MORPHINE! I spell it like that too!

Best wishes to you & Jeanette and all the family....

God bless

Best things about Thursday... lots of sunshine and you blogging that you've had your check up and you're not in any pain.

Best thing about Friday so far... sun, sun, sun. The sun is shining on the mountains and is set to do so for a big chunk (maybe all?) of your Tour de France.

Hope you have a good trip out - everything is ready and dressed in blue and white and longing to see you out here. (Though I'm joining the guys finishing their 2 tech in Verbier tonight and by tomorrow my world may well be dressed in sun glasses and hangover cures!)

SHRINK! Michelle x

What-do Ali,
Happy journeys to France guys. I'm pleased you're heading over there together. Off on my travels for a couple of weeks but Rach will collar you with the potential summer sess accomodation details when you're at 1650, see what you think and hopefully we can nail it. Be good. Think Powder, oops, sorry, Shrink!!
