Tuesday Morning

Bonjour Everyone

Well done Lewis!

I'm really happy because I saw my good friends Martin and Deirdre yesterday. We had a glass of wine and chocolate cake (thanks Nutty Tart) together and tremendous laughs. Thanks for coming such a long way. Love ya.

Lots of love

Ali x

Dearest Ali

So pleased that Martin and Deirdre came to see you and that you had a great time together. The wine and chocolate cake sound great and I think we can gather from all your blogs that you are rather partial to chocolate cake!!!

Hope today is a good one for you and your family. Take care.

Love and hugs as always

Hey Ali,

I'm soaked! I've been trimming my bush outside the front of the house (snigger) and it seemed to be hiding quite a lot of rain water. I KNEW there was window under all of those prickles.

Glad to see you're still pulling the crowds. Hope today is another lovely day.

Lots of leaves, mud and hugs

Mention chocolate cake once more and you'll have every damn blogger surrounding your bed!!

Tell me, Ali - is there any particular wine you like? I mean, it would be useless if you couldn't take advantage of my profession in any way, after all. If it weree at all possible you might even get it hand delivered. Let me know at murraye@thewinesociety.com.

Cheers matey

Hi Ali,

Your cheery photo has made my day - don't let your room mates sway your decision on which wine to order from Ewan....mine's a Marlborough sounds savignon blanc!

Love and prayers,
Clare, Paul, Amy and Ben xxx(who is in the dog house 'cause he is emptying every box he can lay his hands on....may loan him out for clear-outs!)

Hi Ali

Now Ewan is going to be innundated with bloggers' wine orders! Bagsy first!

Glad you had a lovely day with Martin and Deirdre yesterday. The girls and I met deirdre at Chalet Tarantaise in March after our "powder day" with Bernie in Les Arcs (complete with the best hot chocolate and marshmallows ever!). The girls were thoroughly spoilt with sweets and cake and internet access I seem to remember!

Hope you had a good day today.

Love and best wishes to you all

Yes, forget the chocolate cake, once Ewan starts providing quality wines you really will have every damm blogger by your bedside !!!

Nicola Williams

PS - don't let me sway your decision but I do think you can't beat a nice chablis.

PPs - Would put a request in for myself but not sure Ewan carries screw tops !

Dearest Ali

Wonderful photo of you all with wine and flowers but we can't see the chocolate cake, no doubt it is inside the tummies of all those happy faces in the photo!!

Sleep well with peaceful dreams.

Dear Alistair,
still reading the blog, still hoping & praying.......

Full of admiration for you, your family & of course Jeanette....

Spent the day bathing in noise & dust, breaking concrete so really shattered.

Raphael our son is 5 years old today and is improving every day.... He got his first bicycle & loves it!!!!!!

God bless you all

hey ali,

still like the wine eh? i thought you might have given it a miss after you, duncan adamson and i got wrecked on boujolais day the night before the last day of your trainie trainers! i remember looking down from the leisse chair as PK made you and adamson walk back up the side as punishment, before you totally ripped it down.

great work

Important matters Ali. It looks like the Mullet is growing back fast and in fine form! Also, how did everyone appear know you had planted an oak tree before you mentioned it eh? To the average ley person it just looks like a very nice shurb! Do we have bloggers who are secret gardeners world fans? Your reach stretches far and wide........!!

Hi Ali

Lovely pic there. Wine and chocolate cake - mmmmm sounds great to me.

Hope you enjoyed the GP. I was lucky enough to stand under the podium at Silverstone a couple of years back and saw Lewis celebrate a GP2 victory. I would love to go to the Monaco GP - dad is taking me to Silverstone this year and we are working on a cunning plan to wangle getting into the Belgian one too.

Glad to see you have got an all singing, all dancing electric bed - does it make the tea in the morning too?

Keep smiling hun. Love to you all

Ooh Mrs Williams, don't get me started on the cork vs screw top debate - that's a blog in its own right. Hey, maybe winematterstousall.blogspot.com??

Talking of which, what a corking family photo! We do wines that go wickedly with chocolate, so maybe one of them is in the pipeline for Team Rainback.

TTFN Ali, and stay strong.

She may hide behind the 'williams' but we all know Nicola Hulme can get into a bottle of quality blue nun simply by pushing the cork into the bottle ! Ahhm, those were the days, between matinee and the Saturday night finale - don't get me started .....
