Dear Team Rainback,

Gareth and I will both be there to say Goodbye to Ali and celebrate his life.

Such a fab old church - can't imagine anywhere more lovely. Do you remember when the Memorial Hall burned down? We all woke one Sunday morning and it had just gone!!

Please let us know if there is anything we can do/help with beforehand. We'll be driving past Stansted, so if you need anyone who might be coming in from overseas to be collected, please just shout.

Love the new pictures too.

Lots of love

Dear Diana & Ian,
As you know we shall be returning from Annecy on Friday and so will not be able to be with you. How ironic. Our thoughts will be with you.

Not sure who wrote this, but.....

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there, I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glints of snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn rain
When you awaken in the morning hush
I am the uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight
I am the soft stars that shine at night
Do not stand at my grave and cry
I am not there, I did not die.

We will miss Ali.

Dear Team Rainback,

We are so sad to hear the news and will always remember Ali - it was really due to his encouragement of Matt's skiing that we chose to settle in France and for Matt to continue on the Basi journey.
Unfortunately we can't be there on Friday but our thoughts and prayers will be with you all.
God bless Ali.

Love Lucy,Matt,and kids x

We are all bound by the fact that we are born, we live and we will die.
The first and the last are out of our hands, only the way we live is up to us.
There are people that come along that inspire us, fill us up with the best stuff of life, make us feel good about the world.
You know them when you first see them.
They are rare.
Ali, you are one of these special people and whatever your views on life and death you will be inside us all, part of our future journey,so long Buddy.
And if there are powder stashs where you are now don't ski them till we get there........ klipklopx
