Saturday Morning - Good Luck Agnes!

Bonjour everyone!

I thoughts I'd get up early before my eyes go a bit scwiffy and do the blog because it is 'Scwiffy Saturday'

Yesterday was great. It was my dad's 65th birthday! Cor, well done dad. Lucinda picked me up and zoomed us up to the Royal Free coffee shop for hot chocolate with Si. Waited nearly an hour because......'machine are running late again' It didn't matter because 4 treatments quickly became 3 and we were out of there. Bit sad in a way because a lovely old lady called Agnes left today and that was her last treatment. She wears a wig in a brilliant style - looks really great. She said goodbye and goodluck and we wished her the same. She walked out of our lives. I wish her luck. In the waiting room there is a group of about 15 people who I see every day. We have started to bond and you say hello or just smile. We are a group of people who know what each other is going through. It's quite comforting in a way. I can't wait to say goodbye and goodluck to them on Wednesday next week. Very exciting.

Thanks for the packed lunch Julia and Lucinda. It nearly takes me the whole trip home to eat it but by golly it's great. Marmite and cucumber sandwhiches mmmmmmm. TURKISH DELIGHT AGAIN! MMMMMMMM

Home and bed. Jo, Si and the boys came round for a bithday tea party for dad. Charlie is adept at blowing our candles but Archie is learning and more dribble comes out than air. I got a clean piece ha ha.

Big day today. Family coming round in the morning then we're going to try and see the Fulham/Arsenal match with Nick, Chris and my friend John. Can't wait.

Love

Ali

ps. You might notice that there are no more recent photos of me. I've got hampster cheeks, a big tummy, red, bald head and I'm sure there is other stuff. Jeanette still loves me. Whew. Old piccies will have to do ok?

Hi Ali

If you've already received this - I apologise, I'm not into this blog stuff! You may get this twice - oops!

I'm Dee Bretnall (Denise Poole that was) - we were at Kimpton school and ventures together. My mum sent me the link to your blog which I have been reading with much interest. You are one amazing guy - such strength, quite astonishing.

Anyway, wanted to send you some positive affirmations to help you along your way. I know you are using visualisations which have enormous powers but they work better alongside affirmations.
Use affirmations and visualisations together to visualize your desired goal while you repeat an affirmation for it. Create a scene in your mind where you see yourself already having achieved your goal. See yourself doing what you would be doing, saying what you would be saying, feeling what you would be feeling. Affirm in a short, positive statement that this vision is your reality. In this way, you can begin to create the reality you desire.

Here are some you can use for health:
• I am whole, healthy and healed.
• All my bodies – physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual are perfectly aligned.
• I am filled with the healing energy of the Light (usually a white light but green is also used in healing).
• I am in perfect health.
• I release all need for illness or injury to my body.
• I release all negatives from the genetic coding of my body.

“The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, not to worry about the future, or not to anticipate troubles, but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly.” Siddartha Guatama Buddha

I truly believe you will beat this - without any doubt whatsoever. Keep doing what you are doing - remain positive even when you have days, like today, which appear grey and gloomy. Remember the sun is always there shining behind the clouds - it never goes out. If you focus on the darkness you will never reach the light.

Try not to dwell on doubts or negativity as you give energies to them which can then manifest. It's all in the power of the mind - never underestimate the power it has or the body's ability to heal itself.

OK - end to my drivel for the day!! I will keep sending you affirmations - I have many to hand that I use with clients - all of whom have had positive outcomes.

No need to reply to me by the way - channel your energies wisely.

Stay strong and positive - always!

Hey Ali
You are on the home straight now so dig deep and be strong! you have many positive thoughts from a lot of very good friends and supporters behind you so keep going... Oh and on the photos front we have a young daughter who has hamster cheeks, a big round belly and is also a bit follicly challanged, (ok so at 6mnths what do you expect?)but hey we think she is lovely and nothing changes that!!!! It's the individual inside you that counts and that doesn't change..

Wow Ali, what support you have, and fully derserved. I finish every long and tiring and often difficult day and sit in the restaurant and take a bit of time out. Your blog is the first thing i look at now, each evening. It has been a pleasure to get to know you better, even if not in person right now, and only 3 to go!! Well done!!!! Your strength and positive attack on Mr Tumour leaves no doubt, you will win this....

The only shrink thing i can come up with is within my trade....you are sitting with Jeanette sharing a bottle of Rosé somewhere lovely, and you are taking your time and enjoying it, maybe South of France, so you add the odd ice cube to your glass to really keep it lovely and chilled. As you sit there together with the sun beating down, enjoying each others company and the moment and watching the world go by your ice cube very gently shrinks and shrinks and disappears.......never to be seen again.

Lots of love and zappy thoughts, Treacle
