Bonsoir everyone!
I'm really sorry for not blogging yesterday - I pretty much slept most of the day apart from when my good bro Si got here. To be honest I got up feeling a bit naff both in terms of how I felt physically but also emotionally. I was tired of getting up once again feeling out of balance and giddy - another day of it. I can deal with it in the short term but I just felt that yesterday was enough. There is nothing I can do about it apart from feel miserable. Thanks for pulling me half out of it Jeanette and thanks for doing the other half Si! I went to bed having had some Ben & Jerrys chocolate fudge Mmmmm. Good things they said to cheer me up started with it looking like my cheeks had gone down a bit and they thought that my hair had started growing back! Wicked! Only a little bit is starting to sprout and pretty much only on one side but there we go! Good news.
Today saw us go and pick up my good friend and colleage Tom, from Watford at rush hour. Lots of cars going somewhere but very slowly! It was great to hear first hand about New Generation and I'm really excited to get out and lend a hand. I won't be skiing for some time but even going to the office and drinking tea and eating biscuits with Matt will help!! I'm so excited.
I feel much better now. Si and Tom came and saw me - that really helped.
Love
Ali

Hi Mate,
Keep it up, i know you'll feel so much better when you get out to France again. I'm not so sure Matt C has ever made a, let alone decent, cup of tea. Its all about the stir!

Don't be blue Ali, it's Friday tomorrow so you are that much closer to France. The sunshine will help I'm sure - slate grey skies make us all feel rubbish.

Hey Ali. Didn't mean to nag earlier!
A day at a time, that's what you've got to do. Remember, good things come to those who wait and life is just like a pint of the black stuff. It can be frustrating waiting for everything to settle down, but what a drink when it does!
Love to all
Jane-Anne & family.
"Bon-Jour" said Dougal, in French.
Just caught up on your ups and downs Ali after a pretty hectic week. Now my dads landed up in hospital with ticker probs (he seems over the worst though). Just wish people would stop getting ill all over the place. Good news on the pills and hair front.. make sure it does'nt come back ginger. I'm willing the time forward to your return to France, I know how much you're aching to be there mate.
I've got a nice work-weekend at the scout campsite now, so its all chainsaws and tea followed by beer and 6 nations for me.. get in!
Chin up Ali, and hi to all you folks south of Watford Gap. X

Ha ha, Ben and Jerrys is the best way to cure the blues, but maybe not the hamster cheeks! Or in my case a fat arse!
When are you heading back to France, I might be back in your neck of the woods on 16th Feb if you are still around.
Zoe (the ginger one!) xx
Hi there,
Have slacked off the last few days due to teaching english and busy with kids (not forgetting my very demanding husband!!!)
Supposedly big snow falls tomorrow so the Alps will be looking good for your return. (I ordered it specially) Counting down the days until we see you and Jeanette. Love to your family.
Love Carolyn and John.
hey Ali
nice to have pictures back on the blog.
about the last photo:i wonder how did you manage to take a picture inside my mouth after loads and loads of toffee vodka @ ronnie the other night...i better be a bit more careful then...
well you will have to tell us at some point what s on the photo because except un elevage de champignon tres toxique en holland i can t see what it is...
well, now listen, you need to be a bit more relaxed with yourself.
everyone has good and bad days you know, so don t be so demanding with yourself.you have the right to be sad, tired, grumpy, moany, miserable (...) and this is the reason why all your friends and family are supporting you.
i'm really looking forward to see you in Meribel.
Nikki had a very good idea, she will probably come and pick you up to bring you in Meribel office for a while and drive you back home so you can see everyone but not feeling too tired and spending some time with all of us will be so good for your mood. we will have to make better tea and cakes than courchevel office.
it looks like there is a tea competition fight now and you know how competitive i am..........
well, i keep thinking about you and keep sending loads of positive energy from here.
i hope you will feel good by reading all the message today.
i ll speak and see you very soon.
lovexxx

I'll have a cuppa with you in the office Ali, but only if we can have some dairy milk to go with it.. Keep your chin up, you're doing amazingly well. Look forward to seeing you soon. Love Simone xx
Hello Ali! We've never met but I check your blog each day. Thursday:you seemed low, hence this attempt to communicate my best wishes for your future. Remember..! the bright blue days to come... crisp cold snow...and mountains set against the darkest blue of freezing starlight nights. Forget yesterday...think shrink and Annecy...gentle(take it easy)cycle rides along the lake side in summer(the coll climbs will still be there when you're ready).Get strong and live long. Awrabest!
Ali and Jeanette, I am always so amazed by your attitude Ali and the friends and support you both have is amazing and so deserved!!!
Hey what can any of us say, we are not in the place you guys are in right now....keep doing what you are doing, keep believing in what it is that keeps you going and keep those positive feelings as positive as you can, because you are getting through each thing that has been thrown at you, and you will continue to do so, together.
A day at a time, so may people are behind you guys, keep strong!

Hi Alistair,
Thanks to a brief but intense training session by that well-known I.T. guru who operates under the sobriquet of "Big Momma", I'm now fairly confident that this message will blast through that formerly impenetrable wall of bits and bytes and fly through cyberspace to land fair and square on your "Blog" site.
What does "BLOG" mean, anyway? Ok! I've found out: "weB LOG", shortened to "BLOG".
Alistair, everyday since the inception of your "BLOG", we have followed your journey from start to finish - No! Not start to finish; you're now at the finish of the start - the start of what we're sure will be the continuation of your journey to complete recovery.
Your positive attitude has been an inspiration to all. The incredible support from family and your many friends will surely hasten the day when you can return to your former life or perhaps you could say a new life of health and happiness.
The "Think Shrink" team on the west coast of Canada send you our love and best wishes.

Hi Ali
We were worried first thing yesterday when you hadn't updated your blog but very pleased when you posted a short blog later to say it would be updated. First thing I did (I being Chris)when I got into work this morning was check it out. So sorry you had a bad day but we are all here for you willing you better. You are entitled to have bad days so don't feel bad about that. Today should be a better day it is sunny and bright and they even say we might have some snow, not enough to perhaps to ski on but you might be able to make a snow ball or two. Keep smiling Ali, think of your return to the mountains which is just around the corner. Hope you have a better day today.
All our love

Hi Ali! Re the photo. Is it a shot of the team bath at the Gunners ground on a day the immersion heater broke? Or alternatively, Mozzarella cheese ripening in a cave? Awrabest!
Ali
No comment on the picture!!! Thinking of you hope we might see you in France when you get out there. Stay positive just think of the tea and Arsenal at the top of the table.

Hi Ali
Sorry been a week or so since I have dropped you a line been out of the office heaps lately. Been catching up on the blog and thinking shrink though. Got an email from Tom yesterday, he was on the train coming to see you I think. Hope you had a good time catching up with him. He is helping out with accommodation for March, which is a brillient help. Can't wait to get out to have a slide and teach for you guys again. Hear the conditions are pretty epic just now. The only snow I'm seeing is blowing past my face at about a million miles an hour, totally baltic up here just now! Think the A9 is blocked so maybe the highlands are filling up.
Well have a great weekend and I look forward to catching up on your exploits after the weekend.
Cheers
Rob
Hi Ali,
We've followed the Blog since hearing about the how and why through New Gen during our annual trip to "1650"in January. Snow great and input from New Gen positive and fun as usual. Olwena especially missed the "hug"! We hope you will soon be back in France and we'll continue following the Blog for your updates.
As this is our seventh year in Courchevel, you can see the lasting effect those first lessons with you had on us - thanks Ali.
Robin and Olwena
Hello mate,
Sorry for not being in touch over the past week but I am back in blighty with the family and had my "Younger bro's 40th" (now I know i'm past it). Today is a good day though as I have had some great news and hopefully you will be pleased aswell. I took the liberty of cotacting a some people on your behalf (I hope you don't mind) and today a lady called Elaine Sigrist got back to me asking for your contact details, so expect a call within the next 48hours. I have tried to call but now you have more numbers than New Scotland Yard I thought I would blog you aswell. Now chin up and pigeon out young man, and look forward to catching up soon.

Hi Ali! An Irish friend of mine once raised a glass and said to me: "May you live to be a hundred....and may I have the burying of you"? He was an old man then, as I am now, and we're both still standing! Here's the same toast to you young man. Awrabest.
Is it someones tonsils?????
Is it some of the fungus that used to grow in Stu and Mozza's house at Uni?
Alternatively - is it something that grew on Gibbo?
Come on CITY!!

It’s funny the things that can lift you, thinks the man, as he reaches for his laptop. Flipping the screen, he can feel the power of the machine as it lights up, creating the gateway between his reality and that of the think shrink team around the world. He thinks of them as a team now, individuals who have come to know each other through their words, an online connection working towards a common goal. Each one different, but similar too, strangers coming together…in France the welcoming committee are planning their grand tea making competition. Office rivalries resurface as tea and biscuits take on a whole new meaning. Homecoming, healing and reconnection with the life he loves, he can’t wait….
Hi Ali,
Its snowing.....!!!
Sending lots of love

good evening fellas. I'm actually into shoes and I was digging allowing for regarding that singular model. The prices for the shoes were all over 180 bucks on every site. But for all I set this site selling them as a remedy for half price. I in reality want these prada sneakers. I will probably buy them. what do you think?
Il semble que vous soyez un expert dans ce domaine, vos remarques sont tres interessantes, merci.
